Meet the Chef

Aaron captured the nation's hearts, and taste buds in BBC1's MasterChef the Professionals. He has over a decade of Michelin star experience, working with many of the industry's big and well respected names - having become that himself.

“Not only will you have a fantastic meal, you’ll have a fantastic time too” - Ollie Dabbous

Growing up in Winslow, Aaron had a strong interest in cooking from the very start. At 16 years old, Aaron worked with chef Steven Bulmer at Brook Hall Cookery School. Once he turned 17, he started working under Raymond Blanc and Gary Jones in the kitchens of the two Michelin-starred Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons.

He then moved on to London's two Michelin-starred The Ledbury, where he served under Brett Graham. Soon after, being headhunted to take on the senior role at Ollie Dabbous' new project, Hide which earned their first michelin star within 5 months of opening.

Aaron then said goodbye to London, and took the role of head chef for Sir Richard Branson on his private Island in the BVI. He has since returned to the UK, and is here to share his knowledge and love for food.

"Food is a very powerful thing. Not just how it affects our bodies, but our emotions too. One spoonful can remind you of your most vivid memory. It's the core of so many family traditions, and celebrations around the world. It can be used as a token of love, appreciation, or gratitude. Food brings everyone together. And  I just love to have fun with it all - with developing my skills, playing with flavours, with the team, with our guests,
that's what it's all about!"
