Caramelised Onion Sausage Roll

SERVES: 4-6

Ingredients

-400g sausage meat.
-flaked salt & cracked black pepper.
-dijon mustard.
-1 egg.
-2 red onions.
-20g sugar.
-10g red wine.
-15g balsamic.

Method

-Slice your red onions and caramelise in a little oil and butter. Season with sugar and glaze with your balsamic vinegar and red wine vinegar.
-Season your sausage meat with salt and pepper and place in a piping bag, layout your puff pastry brush with a little Dijon mustard, pipe on your sausage meat and place in the caramelise onions.
-Fold the pastry over, crimp and glaze with egg wash. Bake in 175° oven for 15 to 18 minutes then serve.
