Ingredients

-1 onion chopped.
-1 clove of garlic chopped.
-1 red pepper Chopped.
-400g beef mince.
-50g brown sugar.
-200g ketchup.
-1 tin chopped tomatoes.
-8 glugs of Worcestershire sauce.
-4g smoked paprika.
-Salt & Pepper.
-4 burger buns.
-pickles and crispy onions are optional.

Method

-Firstly heat up a deep frying pan to medium heat then add your beef mince and a generous pinch of salt.
-Once the pain is dry and the meat is caramelised add your onion, garlic and chopped pepper, continue to fry for five minutes.
-Sprinkle your sugar into the pan and lightly caramelise the meat should become dark and sticky be careful not to burn at this stage.
-Tomato sauce, tin tomatoes and spices are added to the pan, give it quick give a quick stir, top with a lid and cook on a low heat for 20 minutes.
-Toasting your burger buns is optional, place the saucy meat on the buns, top with crispy onions and pickles, close the bun and serve.
