Easter Egg Cookies

Cooking time: 30 mins

SERVES: 8-10

Ingredients

-250g butter
-180g sugar
-250g brown sugar
-1 eggs + 1 yolk
-200g bread flour
-200g plain flour
-10g baking powder
-4g salt
-400g Your favourite Easter Egg Chocolate (broken into small chunks)

Method

-In a large bowl cream together your butter and sugars, then whisking the egg and scrape your vanilla pod into the bowl.
-Pour in both of your flours, baking powder, salt and chopped Chocolates.
-Cut the mixed together until a course crumble texture is achieved, then pour into the bench and need gently together.
-Divide your mix into balls and place on a lined baking tray, gently push down with your fingers until you make a thick puck shape then bake at 180°C for 10 to 12 minutes until the desired cooking is achieved.
-Once your cookies are out of the oven reshape with an upturned bowl or medium sized tart ring.
-Leave to cool and serve.
