Mulled Wine

Cooking time: 15 mins

SERVES: 8-10

Method

- Slice all the citrus fruits and place to one side.
- Pour your red wine into a large saucepan and add all the other ingredients.
- Bring to a medium heat (steaming but not boiling), leave to steep for 10 mins with a lid on top and leave to cool.

Ingredients

- 2 Bottles of Red Wine (Your favourite)
- 1 Orange
- 1 Lemon
- 1 Lime
- 3 Star Anise
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks
- 6 Cloves
- 1 Big Pinch of Black Pepper
- 200g Sugar
- 1/3 of a Nutmeg (finely grated)
