Som Tam Thai Papaya Salad

Ingredients

-1 Green Papaya.
-2 cloves of garlic.
-1 Thai chilli.
-40g palm sugar.
-2g MSG.
-2 long beans.
-3-4 Grape tomatoes
-1-2 Limes.
-30g roasted peanuts.
-5g dried shrimps.
-30g Sour Tamarind.
-25g Fish Sauce.

Method

-firstly peel and wash your green papaya then take a sharp knife and make many cuts vertically into the papaya creating little tiny strips, then with the knife flat against the papaya start to shave off slices creating small shavings, alternatively use a Japanese mandolin or a Asian peeler to create thin slices.
-Then in a deep mortar and pestle Pound together your sugar, MSG, chilies and garlic until smooth past is achieved.
-Then add your cut long beans, squeezed lime and cut tomatoes, pound together mixing with a spoon then add the rest of the ingredients, stir, serve and enjoy.
